Died October 9, 2003. Born April 8, 1931 in Yonkers, NY, Captain Blundell is survived by his wife of 48 years, Henry Etta; son, Malcomb Jack and his wife Jacqui; son, Peveril Timothy; daughter Laura Blundell Jones and her husband, D. Scott Jones and grandsons, William, Owain and one other..
Graduating from the Naval Academy with the Class of 1953, Pev had five sea commands and one shore command during his 30 years commissioned service. Retiring from the Navy in 1983, he worked for Tomohawk Cruise Missile system, retiring in 1988 with disability. He and Hank lived in Ballwin, MO until 1998 when they moved to Peachtree City, GA, his place of residence at the tiime of his death.
Memorial services will be held Friday, October 17, at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church, 316 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City, GA 30269, with his remains scattered in the Remembrance Garden.
Those who desire may make contributions to the Building Fund at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church, or the Navy Relief Society, 4015 Wilson Blvd., 10th Floor, Arlington, VA 22203. Arrangements by CARMICHAEL-HEMPERLEY FUNERAL HOME, Peachtree City (770-631-9171).
