  • During WWII USS Little (APD-4) was assigned to Asiatic-Pacific Theater, Commander South Pacific Force and South Pacific Area:
  • Final Disposition, lost to enemy action off Lunga Point, Guadalcanal, sunk by Japanese destroyers, 4 September 1942
