I am retired from the military after 6 years with the Navy and 25 years with the USAF as of March 3, 2003. As of January 20th, 2017, I have officially retired from working, but not from life. My last position was the Corporate Communications Administrator, working in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Cannery Casino Resorts. I had been studying Cisco networking since 2000. I worked for GTE for 22 years, Edwards AFB and NASA for over 17 years. It was a real thrill meeting and talking to the pilots and astronauts, including Chuck Yeager and Neil Armstrong among a few. Watching the Space Shuttle up close and in its' full glory, and sweating from the heat of outer space coming off its' body, was great. A real thrill for a child of the 60s.
