 Additional Information
What are you doing now:

AFTER 34 YEARS FEDERAL SERVICE (20 NAVY AND 14 CIVIL SERVICE AND
ANOTHER 16 YEARS IN COMPUTER RELATED CIVILIAN JOBS, I GAVE IT ALL
UP (FIFTY YEARS IN DATA PROCESSING) TO RELAX AT HOME. I ENJOY USING
MY LAPTOP AND THIS WEB SITE TO FIND OLD FRIENDS
MATTERS OR HISTORY BECAUSE I WAS THERE WHEN THE NAVY  BEGAN
EXPANDING IT'S DATA PROCESSING HARDWARE INSTALLATIONS AND
ADDING NEW PERSONNEL. I ATTENDED ONE OF THE FIRST NAVY DATA
PROCESSING SCHOOLS IN BUPERS IN EARLY 1946. THE NAVY HIRED
IBM INSTRUCTORS BECAUSE THERE WERE NO DP INSTRUCTORS. OUR
RATING IN THOSE EARLY DAYS WAS SPI WITCH STOOD FOR IBM.
