What ever I want to, when ever I want to. I am the president of the Heritage Pines Pocket Billiard League, composed of 75 members and and president of the Rolling Green Village Homeowners Association of 33 homes. Between those two, my woodworking hobby, golfing, deepsea fishing, going on pleasure cruises a couple times a year, and going to Ohio for two weeks in the summer to visit family and friends, I keep awful damn busy.
Best Friends Art Platt, Norm Piraino, Chuck Ferry, Paul McKirdy, and Gary (Ernie) Young.
Best Moment Met my wife (Susan) on liberty in Boston. The J.F.K. was there to participate in Boston's 350th birthday celebration "OPSAIL 80". The best port-of-call of my career. If we wore our uniform, most everything was free.
Worst Moment Always being 2nd senior 1st class and not being the shop supervisor.
Chain of Command The immediate supervisors dis-approving my request chit to marry Susan, because it conflicted with a Roosevelt Roads Det. Fortunately the XO thought differently and it was approved and our wedding was as scheduled.
Other Memories Learning the A-7 systems very quickly and earning great evals, putting me over the top to make 1st class.
