Made this profile to Honor my late Grandfather who served in the New York Naval Militia and Naval Reserves prior to WWII. He was born in Germany and immigrated to the US approx. 1920-1925. Also, have paperwork showing he worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps as well during the 1930's. Some of the records I have state he trained as a Signalman, did construction work and after his service became a Mason (bricklayer).
