Speciality: Community Supervision
(I'm a Corrections Officer that does social work)
Experience:
-- About four years as a corrections officer,
-- About four years as a parole officer,
-- Currently employed as a probation officer (Nov 07 - Present)
Professional Motto: Rehabilitation or incarceration. Either way, a threat to society is removed.
Either in corrections or community supervision, I've supervised common thugs, career screw-ups, prison and street gang members, sex offenders, drug addicts, and drunk drivers. Mostly, however, I've supervised essentially good people who made some really stupid/bad choices.
Other Comments:
My wife, Priscilla, is an area coach/district manager for Long John Silver's. She's from Evarts, in Harlan County, Kentucky.
I have a 22 year old step son named Robert, and a ten year old son named David. Robert produces hip hop and rap music. David is a blue belt in karate and is big into basketball. I have three foster children: Cameron is 11, Mark is four, and Willy is two. Cameron is into football, Mark is usually into mischief, and Willy is into everything. Cameron, Mark, and Willy are blood brothers to one another, and have been part of our family for two years. My wife and I hope that they will soon be permanent family members.
We live in a hundred year old house on a corner lot with two dogs (Jordan and Buddy the Wonder Dog) and four cats (Charlie, Jet, Ninja, and Frosty) in a little town about 25 miles or so south/southwest of Fort Worth, TX. Life is good for me, and I guess you could say that I'm living the dream.
