Eich, Leonard "Red"
CROSS PLAINS/ MARTINSVILLE - Leonard "Red" Eich, age 77, of Cross Plains/ Martinsville, died unexpectedly at a Madison hospital on Monday, Dec. 22, 2003. He was born in Stockton, Ill., on Feb. 16, 1926, to Harry and Mary (Binz) Eich. He served in the Navy during World War II. He married the former Mary Boyer Bainter in 1953 and they lived in the Martinsville area for the past 32 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the outdoors in general. He was employed for 37 years at WP&L, Wisconsin Power and Light, and retired in 1991. He served as a past commander of the American Legion Post 449 in Stockton, IL.
