Back to Norfolk (again) in 97 till 2001. Civil Service again and served as FORCE Ombudsman for Airlant (98-2001). in Memphis (01-03) till hubby retired. Being a Navy Wave was the single most important achievement of my life. Nothing could be more rewarding and harder than being in the Navy.
We are saddened to announce that we have lost a dear friend and sister Navy veteran, Betsy Joe Eatherly. Betsy was a strong advocate for her sister veterans, especially those among the Waves National family. She will be missed more than words can express. Fair winds and following seas, dear Betsy.
