Louis T. Barin, pilot and experimenter, USNRF. As a test pilot he aquired the name "Daredevil Barin". He was awarded the Navy Cross as co-pilot of NC-1 transatlantic crossing in 1919. Killed in a mid-air collision in September 1920 at Coronado California.
