Comprising a group of insignia, ephemera and an oil painting from Captain F.K. Loomis, including: 1) A presentation submarine badge in 14 karat gold by Bailey Banks and Biddle, inscribed L.T. Com. F.K. Loomis - From the U.S.S. Skipjack - July 29, 1941; 2) another submarine badge, by Pasquale of San Francisco; 3) a sterling WW2 submarine patrol pin; 4) a Diesel Boats Forever pin in gilt metal; 5) mounted group of miniature medals for WW2 service, including the Legion of Merit with V device, American Defense Medal, American Campaign Medal, China Service Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal; 6) a wood-lined silver cigarette box engraved U.S.S. Skipjack on the lid, and Presented by the Electric Storage Battery Co. on the back; 7) documents relating to Loomis' military career, dating from his nomination as an officer candidate in 1928 to retirement in 1955; 8) three albums of personal photographs and newspaper clippings; 9) An oil painting of Loomis and his wife in formal attire, by Orlando Lagman, dated 1966.
