We made several trips to Johnston Atoll, before and after the nuclear tests. We brought everything from Nike missiles to beer. Holmes and Narver was the contractor on the island. The only recreation, besides fishing, was the nightly BINGO sessions. There was lots of money involved in BINGO, as almost everyone attended and there wasn't much else to spend money on.
