To my family members, members of the USNL, and other friends:
This is a copy of the award I was presented with last Saturday. The Museum is setting up a program of honoring veterans from all wars. I just happened to be "The oldest" so I was the first one to be honored.
I was thrilled and overwhelmed to be so honored and recognized for my doing my job during WW II and the Korean War.
It was great night; the meal was superb, drinks were cold and the camaraderie was never ending.
it made me feel extremely proud to be an American and do my share to keep this country free.
