The infamous crew of the first night flight using onboard radar. They were dubbed the "Black Panthers". They recieved the Navy Cross for this mission. Chief Phillips shot this photo the afternoon before that famous flight. LCDR Butch O'Hare was killed by enemy fire the night of that mission.
