First, I attended the BE&E, Basic Electricity and Electronics prerequisite, and then on to IC-A School at the Naval Training Command, San Diego. As I recall, BE&E school was about 5 or 6 weeks and IC-A school was 15 or 18 weeks. In total, I was at NTC/SD from mid July 1971 until early January 1972.
