WHAT'S YOUR SURVIVAL TIP OF THE DAY? Posted - 3 minutes ago Follow Thread You may edit this post for the next 23 hour(s) 57 minute(s) Edit Thread On my way to Viet-Nam, the Navy sent me through SERE School; SURVIVAL, EVASION, RESISTANCE AND ESCAPE. Most of you know at least something about it, such as survival, or you wouldn't have made it this far. I have an old copy of the SERE manual, and another, an interesting WWII Navy: SURVIVAL ON LAND AND SEA, circa 1943. Both books are interesting, but the SERE School was hands-on also full of life-time good advice. Today, I saw this fish-hook. I thought it ingenious, from a simple and practical standpoint. I bet there are hundreds of simple, good ideas out there, so why not list them here. If you have something to share, give it to us. Anyhow, it should prove entertaining . . . Here's the fish-hook. MADE FROM AN EASY-OPEN CAN If you've been in the practice of making your own hooks, I salute you.
