During this second tour at EOD Unit Two I was a team member attached to a repair ship under orders fro the CNO to proceed to the AUTEC range in the Tongue of the Ocean to inspect underwater arrays to a depth of 200 feet. We were authorized to fill new and cleaned for O2 use, the twin 90 tanks with 75/25 HEO2. The white tip sharks were so numerous I designed and asked the metal shop to construct this shark cage which was operated like an elevator to provide protection to accomplish the mission.
