I was attached to the Naval Advisory Group in the Saigon Shipyard from June 1970 to June 1971, in support of US and RVN ships repair and maintenance, along with being the largest technical training facility for the Vietnamese in the country. This is the first of two Navy Unit Commendation I may have qualified for. The second one was specific to the Naval Advisory Unit.
