Reported aboard while ship was in dry dock in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This was a six-month TAD assignment as a member of permanent "ship's company" while waiting to go to ET School on this Navy Reserve Training ship. In mid-December sailed to our home port of Chicago for the winter.
