I was the Senior Technician of a busy Operating Room [3rd Basement, of the old "Gray Ghost"]. Had to deal with duty sections and evals for the other technicians; the O.R. school students; the physician's requirements; and all those Nurses. I remember the Senior Nurse was LCDR MacClelland, NC/USN.

One of the staff O.R. techs then, 1974-5, was HM2 Backman. The next time I saw him was when he reported for duty at NAVHOSP Naples, Italy, as a doctor, LCDR Backman MC/USNR, in 1993. !!!
