ATCU-100 deployed during Pueblo incident. After crew was returned, we redeployed unit to Chinhae via Korean Freight Train, and four day journey in middle of winter. Awarded Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea) Changed to Korean Service Medal. Later awarded the Korean Presidential Unit Citation.

Sent TAD to ATCU-100A Serial 09, Seoul, Korea, in support of ComNavForKorea and the Admiral negotiating the release of the Pueblo Crew. After release of Pueblo Crew, we moved out unit via Korean freight train to Chinhae, a four day experience. Once we had the unit operational in Chinhae, myself and four members of my crew departed to return to the Philippines for reassignment.
