Description
USS Virginia Base is an official division of United States Submarine Veterans, Inc. (USSVI) and was chartered on July 25, 2002. This Base serves submariners in the Richmond and Central Virginia area. Kenn McDermott is the current Base Commander and was first elected in 2008. Kenn is also the founding and current Webmaster. As of August, 2012 we have 46 members and we meet every second Thursday of the month at Candela's in Midlothian, VA except for our annual picnic which is usually the first Saturday in October (see our web site www.ussvirginiabase.org for more information and directions).
