About the USS FORRESTAL Association:

The USS FORRESTAL Association is a non-profit veterans organization established in 1990, our current membership has grown to over 3000 members. Our organization is committed to preserving the memory and spirit of the USS FORRESTAL.  Our activities not only focus on those happy events we all like to remember, but we also take time to bid farewell to association members who have passed on and to remember shipmates who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Jim - at this time because of family health issues with my brother, aunt and Uncle the family has decided to have a private family ceremony celebrating my Mother and the 20th anniversary of my fathers death. We know there of lots of folks that loved my Mom and want to show their respects. In lieu of flowers I would like to have them donate to The Forrestal Scholarship Program - if you could pass this on it would be appreciated. The Forrestal has and will forever be our family.
Many of you may remember Marge (wife of) Art Billingsley the first President of the Forrestal Association. Marge attended more than 20 previous Forrestal Reunions and will be missed.
