We provide Fraternal meetings and organizational plans and programs for disabled veterans/spouses and families.
We provide assistance to veterans/spouses and their families in various ways who are seeking help in times of need.
We also provide assistance to veterans/spouses with claims paperwork and contact points.
The DAVA (Auxiliary) who are the spouses of the disabled veterans provide assistance in every way in conjunction with the DAV membership.

We meet at 6:00 PM the second Monday of every month for a get-together meal and then have a business meeting at 7:00 PM.
We hold a Bonham Veterans Hospital Birthday party the second Wednesday of every month with a meeting place of the DAV Chapter 81 at 11:15 AM.
