Congaree Post 90 of the American Legion in District 1 of South Carolina is located just putside the capital city of Columbia abput six miles from the center of Columbia. Located in West Columbia on Highway 302 (Edmund Highway) we are between the Columbia Metropolitan Airport and the town of South Congaree. Our Commander is John Matthews, Adjutant is Chris Bortz and Chaplain is Rev. Frederick Mullis.
Meetrings are on the first Thursday of the Month, September through April..

Rev, F.C. Mullis. our Chaplain, who also was an AO on board the Enterprise during the end of the Vietnam War, was able to obtain a U.S. Ensign that flew aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise CVN-65 September,11, 2014. from the Enterprise Chief's Mess. It now fills a place of Honor in the Legion Hut.where it is on display to all members and guests.
