Details Behind Award
Professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as Nuclear Weapons Accountability Leading Petty Officer at Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific, Silverdale, Washington, from 1 October to 12 October 2007. Petty Officer Tebeau's superior resource management and team building skills were essential as he expertly led personnel from different divisions during a short notice Director, Strategic System Programs initiated stockpile inventory. Demonstrating tenacity, ingenuity and steadfast leadership, he developed a comprehensive plan of action for the entry into 36 magazines and the inspection of over 2000 individual items. His flexibility and coordination were evident as he organized this 3 to 4 week task into a 6 day schedule. Petty Officer Tebeau's exceptional professional abilities, initiative, and loyal devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
