Description JCS Exercise Exotic Dancer III Joint exercise involving Navy, Army, Marine and Air Force units held at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, were two of the largest military operations outside the Vietnam War. Exercise EXOTIC DANCER IV is the third in a continuing series of joint exercises directed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and conducted by the Atlantic Command. EXOTIC DANCER IV was taken place in the time period mid-March to mid-April 1971 in the central and southern portions of the North Carolina Coastal Plain.
