Details Behind Award
For professional achievement while serving as a member of Strategic Weapons Department in USS Pennsylvania (SSBN 735) (BLUE) from April 2002 to December 2004. Petty Officer Tebeau consistently performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. His knowledge and comprehension of the weapons system proved indispensable in troubleshooting and repairing numerous complex faults involving the Fire Control System. Petty Officer Tebeau was specifically noted as a standout performer for exceptional knowledge and professionalism during the most recent Nuclear Technical Proficiency Inspection and Tactical ReadinessXXevalXXuation. His take charge attitude was demonstrated in the planning and supervision of over 2000 man-hours of maintenance during eight refits, including fourteen missile replacement events. Petty Officer Tebeau's outstanding performance and loyal devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of Naval service.
