Last Known Activity

ARM3 Anzio was part of a plane crew that was flying anti-submarine patrols. One source states the plane was lost in Portugal while a second states the plane went down near Gibraltar, Spain. Looking at various maps, it could've been along the coast of either place and would've been in the Mediterranean Sea. No cause for the loss is mentioned so it is unknown at this time whether the plane was shot down or experienced a mechanical failure of some sort. ARM3 Anzio was listed as missing in action and later declared dead.
