Billy Brooks, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28th, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Pioneer Memorial Park located at 8009 Hwy. 87 North, San Angelo, TX. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way

Billy married Annsylee Swift in December 1st, 1951 and raised two children, Bernie and? Becky. He worked as a lumberjack for the Diamond Match Co. in Idaho and Washington, oil field worker in Texas and Wyoming, and a plumber in Kansas. He worked with his brother Bernard for many years in Pratt Kansas at Brooks Furnace and Sheet Metal. Billy then worked for the state of Kansas, where he retired.
Other Comments:
Billy and Annsylee moved to San Angelo in 2006. He is preceded in death by his three brothers Bernard, Gideon Jr., Raymond, and sister Pauline Foster, and Grandson Bryan.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Annsylee Brooks; son, Bernie Brooks and wife Jane; daughter, BECKY KISER and husband LARRY KISER; grandchildren, Jacki Fuson, Nicole Brooks, Bryce Brooks and four great grandchildren; In-laws, Ted and Karen Swift, Bill and Carolyn Swift, Ricky and Vicky Swift along with numerous nieces, great nieces and nephews.
