Annie Louise McKenzie, age 83, of Jupiter, FL, joined her beloved Bob from the comfort of her home on January 16, 2009.
Annie was born in Abilene, Texas to the late Roger and Barbara Stinchcomb. She lived in many places with her husband the late Rear Admiral Robert Palmer McKenzie before retiring to Florida in 1984.
Annie was a graduate of Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas and a member of Tropical Sands Christian Church, the Navy League, Retired Officers Association, JDM Country Club, and Ocean Parks Condominium Association.
Annie Louise is survived by: her daughter, Blair Hafner (Keith) of Crowley Lake, California; her son, Michael McKenzie (Judy) of Mobile, Alabama; granddaughters, Ashley and Laura of California; nephew, Blaine McKenzie, Jr. (Nan) of Jupiter, Florida; and nieces, Susan Stinchcomb of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Barbara Ann Wallis (James) of Irving, Texas.
She was predeceased by: brother, Roger Stinchcomb in 1986 and her husband, Robert Palmer McKenzie in 1990.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida 33458.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Tropical Sands Christian Church, 2726 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410 with Pastor Joel Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, Florida 33469.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Annie's name may be made to Tropical Sands Christian Church.
