Veronica "Ronnie" K. Anderson

FREWSBURG - Veronica ''Ronnie'' K. Anderson, 89, of Danielson St., died

Sunday (Sept. 22, 2013), at WCA Hospital.

She was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Newton Falls, N.Y., the daughter of John and

Mary Molak Koziol.

Ronnie was a wave in the U.S. Navy during World War ll.

She was a member of Our Lady Victory Catholic Church, Frewsburg, where

she was a sacrastine, the Frewsburg Study Club, Carroll Senior Citizens and

the Samuel Derby Post 556 American Legion, Frewsburg, where she was a

past chaplain. She enjoyed bike riding, gardening, and skiing.

Ronnie was survived by two sons: John (Cheryl) Anderson of St. Augustine,

Fla., and Mark (Shirley) Anderson of Frewsburg; a daughter, Christine

(James) Herbst of Columbus, Ohio, two grandchildren: Anne-Marie Herbst

and fiance, Justin Posgai of Columbus, Ohio, and Luke Anderson of Ohio;

several step-grandchildren, great-grand-children and three nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon L. Anderson Jr., whom she

married Jan. 29, 1949, in Syracuse, and who died July 22, 2003; and two

sisters and two brothers.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our

Lady of Victory oratory, Saint James Church, Frewsburg, by the Rev. Darrell

Duffy. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Peterson

Funeral Home, Frewsburg, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 4


Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church, Institute Street,
