In order to complete this profile I had to used the unit information for LCI(H)-449 rather than the craft Dan served on.  That craft , like the 449, served in the Pacific and participated in the same campaigns.  I have, somewhere in my highly organized pile of documents, and am trying to locate the info on his ship.
