BMC Daniel Guest, 33, of 1821 Cata Ave., Long Beach, Calif,, a former resident of Salisbury, was killed in action Wednesday while serving with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He was born Jan 20, 1935, in Gastonia, the son of the late Paul and Alberta Moore Guest, He graduated from Price High School and lived in Salisbury until his enlistment in the Navy 14 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Thelma Wallace Guest of Long Beach, Calif.; a son, James Edward Guest of Long Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Miss Bunnie Sue Guest of Long Beach, Calif.; four brothers, Ralph Guest of Gasonia, Paul Guest of Salisbury, James Edward Guest of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Robert Guest of Washington, D.C.; and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Russell of Salisbury. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body will brought to Salisbury for burial.
