 Additional Information
Last Known Activity
CC Hartley was a shell dredge captain for many years.  He was an avid bass fisherman who couldn't stay out of the rivers of the Alabama Delta when he wasn't working.  His largest catch was a 44 inch, 44.5 lb. striped bass Dec. 10, 1976.  I still have it mounted on my man-cave wall today.

CC started showing symptoms of Alzheimers in mid 1990 and within a year was unable to work.  He struggled with this disease for almost 6 years before his death on March 3, 1996 in Mt. Vernon, Al.
