Fireman Apprentice Salvatore J. Albanese was Killed in Action on December 7, 1941, during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  He was stationed on board the USS Helena CL-50. He was listed as having 3rd Degree Burns on his body was sent to US Naval Hospital Pearl Harbor for Disposition.
