Last Known Activity
Seaman John A. Bird was Killed in Action on December 7, 1941, during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  He was stationed on board the USS Tracy DM-19, however, was killed while assisting the USS Pennsylvania.
   
Comments/Citation
The duty station is added as USS Tracy (DD-214)

This ship was reclassified as USS Tracy (DM-19) in 1937, so it is the same ship.
