Aviation Structural Mechanics Chief (Air Warfare) Norman J. Nichols passed away this morning 5 Nov 2007 at the age of 84.   Chief Nichols served and defended his country proudly and bravely at a time when we needed him most.  He was a devoted and loving husband, a cheerful and caring man, a True Gentleman.  I am fortunate to be his Godson and honored to have called him shipmate.

AMC(AW) Norman J. Nichols, You stand relieved, We have the Watch.  Fairwinds and Following Seas.

ETC(SW) David A. Nichols
