 Additional Information
Last Known Activity

After nearly 30 years with Pacific Microwave, Joint Venture (formerly Pacific Telatronics, Inc.), I have finally retired completely.  It's been a long career in the communications and the electronics field, both Navy and Civilian.

Enjoying the life of leisure and traveling.  Spent the entire month of September 2008 after my civilian retirement traveling Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, & Nevada; visiting many national parks and Las Vegas & Reno before returning home.
Made a trip to Boston & New Hampshire in April 2009 for three weeks to visit my wifes family and relatives/friends and for sight-seeing, and made the trip again in 2011.  We have made various short side trips around Oregon and Washington for visiting family and for relaxation and sight-seeing.  We did make a trip up into British Columbia and Alberta, Canada for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2014 and toured the Canadian Rockies.  One of the most beautiful areas in North America.  Spent some time in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia before coming back into USA.

I spend some of my spare time repairing & restoring old radios & electronic equipment as a hobby, with a friend of mine.

Unfortunately, my wife Peggy, predeceased me on October 3, 2019 after 55 years of marriage. Our last few years together I was taking care of her fighting the diabetes and stage 4 kidney disease.

Now it appears that I have a new battle to try and win.  I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung and Liver Cancer in February 2020.  Started the first rounds of Chemotherapy on 3/16/2020.  Let's hope and pray we can win this battle!
And now another battle against cancer.  The small cell cancer has spread to my brain and now in the process of having radiation treatments of the brain starting 16 July 2020 daily for 10 days or possibly more.  So far, taking it like a trooper and I have a lot of family and friends support and love.
