Commander Dr. Harold Robert Hay, U.S. Navy, of Vallejo, California

His military service included, but is not limited to: U.S. Naval Station, Treasure Island, San Francisco; Cincnelm, London, England; and U.S. Naval Station, Long Beach.

While at the Treasure Island Naval Station, Dr. Hay met, his wife to be, Janet Joachim. He was a podiatrist surgeon, who claimed "he held her foot before her hand."

On May 13, 1954, Cmdr. Dr. Harold Hay married Janet at St. Vincent's Church, in Vallejo. They bought and built a new home in Walnut Creek. In 1977, they built a new home just outside of Calistoga. Dr. Hay died in 1980.
