Ellsworth Allen Westgate
He drove a milk truck for 22 years and later drove a truck for the Douglas County Highway Department for 17 years. He retired in 1987.Mr. Westgate was a Navy veteran of World War II, who served on a landing ship tank in the South Pacific.
Mr. Westgate attended Ives Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of the Lloyd-Beaton Post No. 228, both in Baldwin.
He had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.(ALS)which last over period of 3 years.Mr. Westgate died Monday at his home,
Services for Ellsworth Allen "Toby" Westgate, 65, Baldwin, David Olmstead officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by Lloyd-Beaton Post No. 228 of the American Legion at Flory Cemetery in Pleasant Grove.
