  Shipmate & Pathfinder: May 24, 2016

Bobbe -

I will always remember you for you quick wit, confidence, strong values, and commitment to service.  You lived what you spoke.  I will remember you as a pathfinder in the earlier days of women in the Navy, and consider the shoals you and your fellow WAVES had to navigate through: while at the time not realizing it, you set the markers for those who followed, and follow they did.

You are Navy through and through, stem to stern, keel to Charlie Noble.  Your family is of the same hearty stock, bathed in saltwater and nurtured in the ways of the sea, with no less than a brother, husband, two sons and a grandson who served or are still serving.

To us you have been a leader, a mentor, a mother, a confidant, and a friend; a dear Sister and a true Shipmate; and you will be missed ... and in that you will be remembered.  Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to share a part of your life, we are the better for it, both humbled and honored.

May the Lord God grant your family His Peace and Comfort, and His Strength, for now and for always, amen.

most v/r
