He died in my arms

Always Remembered
If Bill had been standing a few inches to the left and I had been a few inches to the right, it would be he writing about me. His face as he turned toward me will be etched forever in my mind. He paid the full price in a split second. I don't care what the critics say about the Vietnam Conflict, We did our job and all paid a price but none so costly as those memorialized on that WALL. God Bless you and hold you in the palm of his hand for eternity.

Thinking of you, on your birthday and thanking you, too. God bless you and may the angels, be your company.

I was only 10 yrs old hearing of Bill's death in early 1965, as I was then a resident of Bay Village, OH and he attended my church. My grandmother (Mary Hagan) died on Sept. 30, 1965, and I recall finding his grave at Holy Cross Cemetery (Brook Park, OH) so close to my grandmother's grave, and saying prayers for the repose of both of their souls. Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him may he rest in peace, amen!

Bill and I, grew up together in East Liverpool, Ohio. He moved, at a young age, to Bay Village, OH. and I lost track of him, until I learned of his death, in Viet Nam. Bill may you, rest in peace and thank you, for your contribution, to our freedom.
