LT 03, Medical Officer, US Navy, NVASUPACT (Naval Support Activity), Saigon, US Naval Force Vietnam. Served aboard the USS Tuluila (ARG-4). Killed in a non-hostile vehicle accident in Vung Tau, Vietnam when he went ashore to tend to wounded from a combat situation. Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall: Panel 41E, Line 003.
Graduate of Boulder High School, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and, the George Washington University School of Medicine. Interned at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia before joining the US Navy in July, 1967
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Saunders.
