PORTLAND - Ron A. MacKenzie, 56, of Arcadia Street died Monday morning, June 14, 2004 at a local hospital unexpectedly.
He was born in Portland, a son of John K. and Mary Rollins MacKenzie. He attended Portland schools graduating from Deering High School Class of 1965, and was a graduate from USM with a degree in business administration. Ron was currently employed at Budget Rental Car at the time of his death.
Ron served in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of VFW Post #6859, who conducted a memorial service.

Parachute Rigger 2nd Class Petty Officer Ron MacKenzie was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran who served with Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, HA(L)-3 as a helicopter door gunner, from 1969 to 1970.
