Retired 11-23-97. Worked as Assistant County Clerk and Supervising Legal Clerk - Lassen County - Susanville, CA - 1974-1997.
Am a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America - Oahu, Hawaii chapter 858, life member of VFW post #2381 in Susanville and a member of American Legion Post #204 in Susanville. Am certified by Dept. of Defense under the Funeral Honors Program.

I am a member of the Reunion Association - U. S. S. General H. W. Butner, AP 113 (1943-1960). When I first came to the United States, Jan-Feb 1953, it was on board the U. S. S. Butner. My father, Col. Armel Dyer, U. S. Army Ret., was the OIC of the troops during the voyage from Bremerhaven, Germany to Brooklyn, N. Y.
